Poggio La Grognola is a hidden gem nestled amongst olive trees in the serene countryside of Collemancio, offering amazing views of the Umbrian valley. During my recent New Year's getaway with a couple of eco-conscious friends, we were enamoured by the spacious rooms equipped with modern amenities, including a desk for those who might need to work. The highlight, though, was the beautifully furnished terrace where we savoured good daily breakfasts, featuring both sweet and savoury options, while soaking in the tranquil sounds of nature. The communal lounge provided the perfect space for us to relax, play board games, and enjoy quality time together, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful retreat with loved ones. With friendly staff ready to assist with tours and local insights, Poggio La Grognola is not merely a place to rest; it's a warm and welcoming home away from home, perfect for any traveler with an appreciation for sustainability and community.
